Virginia Harp Center Festival
I developed the visual identity and marketing materials for the Virginia Harp Center Festival, an event bringing diverse international artists to the Mid-Atlantic through concerts, workshops, and performance classes. The brand was designed to capture the energy and sophistication of the festival while reflecting the American spirit of Washington, DC — balancing tradition and creativity.
Brand Identity
The Virginia Harp Center approached me to create a visual brand for their annual harp festival. As a brick-and-mortar store, they wanted to build on their existing logo and typography while establishing a fresh identity specifically for the festival. Since the event takes place in Washington, DC every year, I focused on leveraging the American spirit, paying homage to the festival’s location through design elements, color, and typography. The resulting brand conveys both the elegance of the harp and the vibrancy of the local cultural scene, and was applied across print, digital, and social media marketing materials.
Festival Website
I was tasked with building out the festival’s website, creating a user-friendly platform to showcase all aspects of the Virginia Harp Center Festival. The site features artist bios, the festival schedule, class descriptions, and an integrated checkout system for signing up for workshops. My design focused on presenting clear information while maintaining the festival’s visual identity, ensuring an engaging and accessible experience for both first-time visitors and returning attendees.
Printed Materials
For the Virginia Harp Center Festival, I designed a full suite of marketing materials, including tickets, postcards, an event brochure, and on-site signage. Each piece was crafted to reflect the festival’s visual identity, celebrating both the elegance of the harp and the American spirit of Washington, DC.
